While having no design school background (b.s. is in History), Carrie Greaves has been in the graphic design business for about 30 years. Starting in the 1980s, she worked for newspapers doing typesetting and paste-up. After that, learned about ‘desktop publishing’ and related technologies working for high tech companies like Microsoft and Aldus (now Adobe) as a freelancer. From 1990 to 2003, she did print production management, layout design, and electronic production for one of Seattle’s best design companies, Methodologie (formerly TeamDesign). Since 2003, she has been a self-employed designer/production artist, working with large companies like Microsoft and local companies like Glerup Revere packaging, as well as smaller companies as well. Carrie can handle a project of any size, from business papers to letterheads to signage and displays to annual reports, and complete them on time, and on budget.
